How 2v2 works

Partners sit opposite

Four players, two teams. Your partner sits across the table, so the turns go you, an opponent, your partner, an opponent.

One of you goes out, you both win

When either partner empties their hand, the team wins the round and scores the cards the other team is holding.

Team-only voice

Once the cards are dealt, voice chat is just between partners, so you can plan without the other team hearing.

Share the pot

The winning team shares the coins in the pot. You can't catch your own partner for forgetting to call SOLO.

Tips for winning as a team

  1. Feed your partner

If your partner is low on cards, change the colour to one they're likely to hold.

  2. Hit the right opponent

Save your draw cards and skips for the opponent closest to going out.

  3. Talk it through

Use the team-only voice chat to say which colours you're short of.

Start a 2v2 game

Pick 2v2 before you play. Play Online finds three other players, or Create Room and invite three friends. A 2v2 game starts when all four seats are filled.
